Since the beginning of organised society, human beings have strived to achieve greater understandings of the world around them. Not only is this knowledge gained for curiosity purposes but as a means of survival, to learn the best methods of obtaining and utilizing available resources, and then to protect them. This desperation to hoard and protect all available resource information has led to many of the worlds instabilities and problems, whether it be war, environmental issues, famine or the abundance of homelessness that is now widespread across the world.
